I know a lot of guitarists do solo acts, so I was thinking about trying a solo bass act. What do you think?
Go for it man! Bass is such a beautiful instrument. I play bass myself and when i play by myself around a few friends they thing it is wonderful. The thing is, people who don't think it is possible or thing it is to hard is wrong. As long as you play around for a while and find chords that sound good, everything else will come into play. Just get in touch with your creative side, find something that inspires you and just play, don't even think about it and it will sound good.
Guitar Tie I don't have a guitar cappo, is there any way I can make my own capo or something? (Read details?!)?
Like maybe there's something I could tie around the guitar neck where the capo would have gone? I don't have the time to buy a capo in time and I need one tomorrow!!
I tried using a shoe lace when I first got a guitar.
It didn't work and I soon realized that capos are so cheap that you'd have to be a tight b*****d not to buy one in the first place.
You don't have time to buy one? How long does it take?
I wouldn't abuse your guitar by using anything other than a capo that is designed specifically for that purpose. You could damage it.
Try to find the time to buy one or borrow one from somebody.
You say you NEED one? For a gig or something? If you had been playing guitar for more than 5 minutes you would already know the answer to this question.
I vote for Dimebag to leave. (he is good..but he has lasted far longer than he deserved)
*ok..we are STILL tied.... if either Chuck or Dime get one more vote..we can move on.
Well I would have voted for Mike Amott even though I think he is a GREAT guitarist. But, since there is a tie and Dimebag is my favorite muscician overall I will say chuck Schuldiner.
Guitar Part What 90s alternative rock song has a guitar part similar to "When the Sun Goes Down" by Kenny Chesney?
"When the Sun Goes Down" has a really similar guitar part to some 90s alternative rock song. I can hear the other song, but I can't quite put my finger on it. A part of the lyric is like "all around the world..." The band has a similar sound to Third Eye Blind.
On the song spaceman by the killers on rock band 2 how come im not playing a part where theres guitar?
On the song theres a lot of spots on the guitar where its empty on the scrolling thing but i can also hear a guitar playing in the back ground of the song
how come they didnt put anything in there for the guitar part
i care cus i want to play that part in the song
its just blank
well the killers definitaly nixed out a lot of guitar on that newer album so... yeah that does suck cause the little guitar they do have you definitely want to play. sorry your question does not have an answer.
