Why did my green beans turn out not very good?
Why did my green beans turn out not very good?I wanted them juicy and lots of flavour but they wernt juicy and they didnt taste the best.
Theyre fresh green(string) beans.I boiled then for about 15-20 minutes on low to med without lid and then put it on simmer for approx 10 minutes with the lid on.How can i improve for next time?
Thanks-but even after the long time i cooked them they were still hard so if i cook the for less wont they be too hard?
Theyre now khaki coloured but still abit hard?
Thanks Merrybears-i only added seasoning at the end to cover the taste 
myself I would first have my water boiling before I put the beans in along with your seasoning, as for juicy, what seasoning did you use like spice or seasoning to make them juicy or flavorful. for tenderness the right amount of water, cook till tender for you. for every one has their own amount of tenderness. for flavor spice, add seasoning and test tast till the water has the flavor you want, they should in the end taste as you test taste in the beginning
Much else one cannot say for we dont know the amount of beans used, or season and amount, the better I can do.
