Plated Electric Which hotplates on electric cookers are most efficient? Solid Plate? Spiral Plate?
I would like to buy electric cooker (MUST be electric) but first of all I wanna know: Which hotplate on electric cookers is most efficient? Solid Electric Plate? Spiral Electric Plate? I don't wanna ceramic one, because it is hard to clean and all the gas are excluded as well. Thanx for your answers
If you buy an electric hotplate, you are not buying an efficient devive, period.
However, the solid plates are more effective and more durable, and easier to keep clean. It may take a bit longer to heat up, but once it does, it transfers it's heat to the pot or pan much more efficiently.
Neither is particularly energy efficient, however.
Too bad you decided against gas ... it really is the best for a heat source.

What kind of guitar is best for me?
Hey! I am wanting to learn how to play the guitar. The only problem is I don't know what to get. I have already looked online and found an okay one, but I would really like to get a well known brands. What brands are good? Oh by the way, I want a 6 string guitar. I really want a good guitar that is long lasting. My budget is 100 bucks(yes i know thats not a lot) and I may have to go search a pawn shop to find a better brand and a more expensive guitar! Thanks ya'll!
The brand you get doesn't really matter, and as you only have a small budget you won't be able to afford one of the top brands anyway. Look around a lot, go to different music stores and try out some of the guitars they have.
Seeings as you're only just learning to play, I'd avoid buying an online guitar as you want to know what sound the guitar makes.
When you listen to the sound the guitar makes, listen for a rich but clear tone. Also, when you buy guitars it's important that you feel comfortable playing it and that it's easy to move around on.

Buy Bass Strings What gauge do strings come standard on a new bass?
I want to replace my bass strings and I like the size they are at now but I dont know what guage the ones that came stock on the bass when I bought it are.
So any ideas? Its a Fender Jazz. Im changing them to flatwounds
A Fender Jazz bass would have Fender strings installed in the Fender factory and the set is either the 8250 4 string or the 8250-5 five string set. These sets are nickel plated steel and the gauges are 45/65/85/110 and there is a 130 B if it's a five string bass.
Flatwound strings will sound entirely different from the nickel plated steel strings. The sound will be very deep and will not produce the highs that nickel plated steel strings deliver.
