Electric Guitar Tuners Instruments

My Guitar is Broken, I need help!?
My guitar, a Brownsville GG1 Electric (http://www.adpost.com/my/musical_instruments/274/) isn't picking up anymore. I tried it with the tuner, so the problem has to be either with the guitar or the cable, a Pro Co Sound Excellines (http://www.nextag.com/Pro-Co-ProCo-Sound-57164616/prices-html). When I play, the amp is dead silent and the tuner shows nothing. This is the first time this has happened and the guitar and cable have been working. I've checked everything, and I can't figure it out. What's the problem?
I would try the previous suggestion first. If that doesn't work, it could be a lot of things on your guitar. First, I'm not familiar with your specific guitar, but does it have active pickups? If it does, there will be a battery compartment for a 9V somewhere, and your battery could be dead. If not, maybe your cable jack is bad, I would check that, open it up and have a look. If it's not that, you probably have a connection problem in the internal wiring, so I would open up the wiring compartment and look for loose wires.
