Gibson Deluxe Gibson Les Paul Studio or fender deluxe 72?
I play in a pop punk band similar style as paramore...looking at a new guitar
thinking either
Fender Classic Series 72 Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar, Black (http://www.dv247.com/guitars/fender-classic-series-72-telecaster-deluxe-electric-guitar-black--40945)
or...Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar, Worn Cherry
I would have to go with a gibson, but it's all up to you .Go to your local guitar shop and give them both a try and choose the one you like best.As for the strokes answer, are you refering to kurt cobain,if so I 've got to say he was a horrible guitarist, just another three cord run of the mill guitarist.I had the displeasure of seeing him struggle through a few solos and he was god awful.
Guitar Flat Top What is the model number of my Ibanez guitar.?
The serial number is s07072586. 22 fret rosewood fretboard thats set in, two humbucker pickups, a volume and tone knob and a three way switch, no tremolo, arched top flat back, and it looks like a ART series.
Vintage Reissue Guitar where can i find authentic vintage fender and gibson guitars in Malaysia?
I'm looking for these guitars to collect however it seems there aren't many in Malaysia and most are either reissues or new ones. Do help me out. Thank you
This is quite a number of specialised shops selling music instruments in Malaysia. there is one shop in LG of Sunway Pyramid, one shop in Harvey Norman (next to the Pet Safari), and one another that i remember in Level 1 of Subang Parade. Surprise to hear you can't find what you want. For the vintage if they don't sell it at their premise, they can always source it for you. All you need to do is ask them to seek or order one for you. Of course you need to pay a little search fee for the service.

will these frets work on my guitar.?
http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Vintage-Guitar-Fret-Wire?sku=361346 and how hard is it to re fret a guitar yourself it is a Gibson style 61 reissue guitar.
it is very difficult to re-fret a guitar and you should under no circumstances try to do it your self. A guitar should only be re-fretted if the frets are damaged or worn to the point that they cannot be dressed. A recently built reissue instrument should not have any such problems unless it has had an accident or has been tampered with. take the instrument to a luthier who can assess the problem and advise you.
Reissue Guitar how much could i sell this guitar for?
I have a 4 year old 50th anniversary Left handed reissue of a 1967 fender strat. It is made in japan, body is ash wood, very light weight, and in excellent shape. the original pick ups were replaced by seymour duncan hot rails. the position of the bridge is slightly off, which makes screwing in a whammy bar hard but that can be easily fixed. other than that the guitar is awesome... i need to sell it but i don't know what is a fair price.
I know how to intonate, problem is, the note at the 12th fret is flat, and I cannot move the saddle forward because it's as forward as it can possibly be. I have a jam session in the morning and I don't want to sound out of tune when I play certain chords.
If it helps, I'm using an Epiphone 1958 Reissue Korina Flying V with a fixed bridge.
OK, if I understand correctly, the 12th fret is playing flat? and you can't adjust the bridge?
Try hitting a harmonic at the 12th fret and then playing the note fretted. Are those two notes exactly the same, in tune with each other? If so, then the adjustment is correct; maybe you're bending the string when you play.
If they're not in tune and you can't adjust the bridge, then you need a professional guitar repair person to work on your instrument. Maybe the neck is out of adjustment, maybe something else needs work. Could cost a bit of cash, but the alternative is being unable to play in tune--blah.
