Need help changing electric guitar strings?
I'm going to change the strings on my electric guitar. My guitar is an Aria Pro II, and the strings I'm using are D'Addario nickel wound strings, and this high e string is .010 gauge, and the low E is .046 gauge.
I heard that you're supposed to do one string at a time instead of taking them all off and putting them all back on, but I want to clean the part of the wood under the strings. Is it OK to take off all the strings? Or is there another way to get under them?
Also, I see a hole where the strings go under the electric guitar in the place where acoustics have pegs. Is there anything important that I should do about that? Or is it OK to just, put them in through the bottom?

Taking all the strings off a guitar and cleaning the neck and frets is a must.
there is no reason to leave the strings on a guitar. I have worked with some of the top luthiers, major brand guitar technicians and have been changing strings in my shop for a long time and have never had any issues when I have changed the strings.
