   My first year of college I landed in a “pod” with two other girls. A “pod” basically consisted of a single room, a double room, a bathroom and a living area. One of my roommates was a student athlete like I was (she ran cross country, I played rugby) so we both showed up about two weeks prior to the start of school. She happened to arrive an hour or so before I did, so she called the single room for herself and I picked out the more comfortable of the two beds in the very long, but not very wide, double room. We then set off to our respective practices and met up afterward for dinner at the dining hall. We got to know each other and discussed what our third roommate might be like. It was worse than either of us could have imagined.

   Can they? Sure. Will they? Doubtful, experience is hard to come by, especially 5 seasons worth.
