Semi Flat Strings

Bar chord training Question (Medium Advanced).?
I can almost play bar chords semi well.
But I always fail the 4th string (G string). I cant press the string reliably enough.
Any Tips ?
are you supposed to twist your first finger, pointer finger, outward, a tiny amount ? (Curled a bit outward) ?
the only thing I can think of, for practice, is to just jump around different bar chords focusing on the G string, each time I land.
is it recommended to twist your pointer finger outward at all? or should I just learn to do it with my
finger completely flat?
First off, it's always good to get your terminology right. You are presumeably talking about guitar. On guitar, the G string is the *third* string. Also, it is more common to write "barre" chords.
I don't know what you're talking about as far as twisting your first finger. I just picked up a guitar to verify, and my barre finger is quite flat.
Really, there's no magic trick to playing barre chords. The main thing is to keep practicing. In particular, you will build up strength in your thumb, and that will help you finger the chord more cleanly. Just practice holding the chord down really well, so that you can arpegiate the chord and have each note come out clearly. You'll probably feel it in your thumb when you do this. That's ok, again you're trying to build up your thumb strength. Jumping around isn't so important so much as getting your hand to finger the chord correctly and just continuing to hold it down, to build up the strength. (of course, jumping around is good practice for... well, jumping around, which of course is something you also have to do when you play).
Of course, sitting there just holding down chords can get kind of dull. You might try practicing by playing a slow blues progression in minor (you want minor, because those 6-string minor chords are the ones that really require you to get the barre right on the 3rd string). So try playing this, as a slow blues progression, using only 6-string barres. Concentrate on getting all 6 strings to sound cleanly:
||: Gm | Gm | Gm | Gm | Cm | Cm | Gm | Gm | Dm | Cm | Gm | Gm
|
If you have someone to jam with you and improvise over your blues progression, so much the better.

How to tune your santur
What type of tennis string should I use?
I'm fifteen, and I play tennis competitively. Currently I'm top 40 in the state of Georgia in my age group. I have a semi-western grip, and I tend to hit the ball with little spin. The ball that i hit is generally pretty flat, and hard. I have been playing with a Gamma Mono-blast for the mains and a Gamma synthetic gut with Duraguard on the crosses. I break the mains about once a week or two. Both my coach, and a guy that I hit with tested out my racquet. They said that I needed a string with more bite. I'm wondering if that is the reason why I don't get much spin. I want a string that is durable, gives good control, and has good bite.
I generally tend to hammer with my opponent from the baseline, but I also come to the net, and use slice. I have a big serve, in case this affects anything.
I string my own racquet, and I currently play with a Prince Speedport Tour. I'm probably going to change racquets soon, so the racquet doesn't really matter though.
I'm also a junior playing competitive tennis! I had a similar problem before, but I've sorted it out. I recommend using Luxilon Big Banger Rough for more power (yet controlled) and if you want you could also try out the spin edition (for more spin). All big banger strings are very durable. I tend to play around 11 hours a week and I break strings around once every couple months.
You could also try using Head sonic pro for a very controlled feel with lots of power, spin and great feel. However, the sonic pro strings aren't as durable as the big banger ones. The big banger strings give lots of 'bounce' off the strings and sometimes can be a bit overdone, so I would recommend the head sonic pro strings as my first choice.
Hope this helped!
